Members of the Green family, who, despite starting their lives living close to each other, have since dispersed to different locations across the United States.
Their grandfather taught them all to sing. Apparently, no one was given the option NOT to sing; he was adamant about teaching them all!
In 2012, the family gathered in the large hall of the Fountain Square House® studio and sang together acapella, with no click track or instrument, just getting their pitch from the tone of a single tuning fork.
And sing they did.
The music they created was remarkably beautiful. The similar timbres of their voices, so humbly presented, seemed to emanate directly from the common core of the musical history they shared.
The grandfather was presented with the full album created at Fountain Square House® as a surprise gift for his birthday, and it brought joyful tears to his eyes.
